My Story

Here’s the real story though – I actually felt drawn to cosmetology even before graduating high school. I had parents that wanted me to take the traditional college route, and they won the battle, but lost the war (many years later). Fast forward to 2017, I started being a freelance makeup artist part-time. I loved it but felt like I was still missing something.

The Breaking Point That Changed Everything
Fast forward to 2020, my corporate job was killing me. Working over 60 hours a week, deeply depressed, not taking care of myself mentally or physically. I knew enough was enough. September 30th, 2020 was the day I took my power back and fought like hell for my childhood dreams.

Prior to cosmetology, I worked in the medical field. For both cosmetology and medical, you have to have a big heart for helping others, enjoy working with your hands, and be quick on your feet. All I was missing was my creative outlet – I found that in cosmetology.

Color and corrective extensions are my specialty… If you’re not happy with your hair, I may have a solution to solve it! I’m the Kentucky regional educator for Peace Hair Co.

My Mission: Education Above Everything

I want to share my passion and knowledge of hair extensions – not only educate stylists, but educate clients as well. My goal is to give my clients optimal installs for healthy hair growth, so they can one day go without them if they choose. I found my passion for education while still in cosmetology school. I love sharing my knowledge and helping others fine-tune their skills.

Born and raised in NKY, but don’t ask me for directions anywhere 🤣🤣 I’m an elder emo 🤘🏽 but love all genres of music. My playlist gives me whiplash sometimes! In my free time catch me with a book in my hand, watching a Reds, UK, or FC Cincinnati game, doing pilates, or just staring off into the abyss 😂

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a dog mom to the cutest and sweetest boy, Cruz Davis. You may see him at your next appointment! Favorite shows on repeat: Friends, New Girl, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Ted Lasso.

Ultimately, I help my clients feel confident and empowered, so they can move through the world as their authentic self. I was tired of not feeling fulfilled in any other job I’ve had. I want to help empower and build others up, not only with exterior beauty but helping them see their inner beauty. I love being able to create a safe space for others to heal, feel vulnerable, and receive unconditional love.
